Set against the backdrop of a nationwide lockdown imposed during the COVID-19 pandemic in India, “Bahadur – The Brave” weaves a gripping narrative around the struggles of Nepalese migrant laborers. The film’s protagonist, Hansi, seizes an opportunity to navigate the emerging labour crisis and secure a better future for his ailing son when his brother-in-law, Dil Bahadur, offers him illegal work in a go-down. Diwa Shah’s directorial debut shines a light on the human condition and the relentless pursuit of hope amidst adversity.

San Sebastián International Film Festival has a storied history, having hosted some of the most iconic moments in cinema, including the international premiere of Alfred Hitchcock’s “Vertigo” and the recognition of Francis Ford Coppola’s “The Rain People” with the Golden Shell.
“Bahadur – The Brave” joins the ranks of distinguished Indian films screened at the festival, such as Mira Nair’s “Salaam Bombay,” Satyajit Ray’s “Charulata,” Mrinal Sen’s “Antareem,” and Rima Das’s “Village Rockstars.” Notably, it is the first time that a debut Indian director has clinched the Kutxabank – New Directors Award, marking a historic milestone in Indian cinema.

The prestigious Hindustan Ratna Awards were presented by Mumbai Global at the Club in Mumbai and organized by Rajkumar Tiwari, co-organized by Vaibhav Sharma who also enthralled the audience with his anchoring.

Girish Wankhede, Founder and CEO of short video app Jai Bheem, has been instrumental in popularising it among the youth of the country in a very short span of time. The app was started not only for entertainment purposes but which is meant to educate people about social equality and propagate the values laid down by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. Last year, the app conducted a contest and took four winning students to Dubai to felicitate them and provided them with the adequate international exposure. After the huge success of Miss & Mrs India Global Queen 2021 & 2022, Dr Neelam Paradia and The Topaz Events organized Miss & Mrs Royal Global Queen 2023, Mr. Royal Global King and Royal Global Achiever Awards Season 3 on 7th May at Club Emerald, Mumbai.
It was a grand and successful event, in which the contestants and celebrities of India, Bangladesh, Canada, Singapore & Iran were present making our message of International & National Integration strong, loud and clear. On this unique concept, Dr Neelam said that we believe in national & international integration. through this program, Dr. Neelam Paradia spread the message of national and international unity, love and harmony as all the participants belonged to different cultures and religions.
It was an international beauty pageant where famous Bollywood actors Aftab Shivdasani and Ali Khan, Bollywood Singer Ali Quli Mirza and our Brand ambassador Actress Jyoti Yadav were also present. Dr Neelam Paradia said that when the cause is good, people also join. When we told Aftab Shivdasani that we were doing this event for a social cause that would benefit the Handicapped Trust, he immediately agreed to grace the occasion with his presence and support the noble cause. She thanks him from the bottom of her heart for his generosity and kindness.
Ali Quli stole the limelight with his amazing performance. He sang songs like “Tu Jaane Na from Ajab Prem ki gazab kahaani” and “bure bure from bluffmaster”. These songs created a beautiful blend of energetic pop and soothing romance. Our audience and our contestants were elated by his stage presence.
Jyoti Yadav had always been a great supporter of women empowerment. A strong, bold, confident and intelligent women herself, she serves as the best brand ambassador to look upto. She said that we all enjoyed this show a lot. Beautiful faces and lovely smiles were seen on the stage. Normally we see tears in the eyes of the winners but here we saw the organizer Dr Neelam getting emotional.
Talking to the media here, the celebrities said that Dr. Neelam and her husband Mr. Kalpesh Paradia have organized such a good and enjoyable event. From Miss to Mrs to Mr. all the contestants worked hard, there were many rounds of competition, in which their talent was tested, they gave their best in the question-and-answer process and showcased our rich heritage and culture in the national costume round. It was a fantastic contest where the contestants were groomed into the beat versions of themselves. It is always tough to judge amongst these talented individuals.
Let us tell you that this contest was an occasion to celebrate for the women of today. This year, the pageant also celebrated the LGBTQ community by having their first ever Trans Contestant. This was a huge moment for the history of pageantry and step towards the progress of the community. This contest is not about the woman’s appearance, height, age, weight etc. The pageant is all about celebrating the power of women. Dr Neelam says that we look for role models and not just models.
It is worth noting that during these two days, 6th and 7th May, participants interacted with international mentors, grooming partners, hairstylists and got their photoshoots done. These two days were special for all, helped them to learn a lot, understand and build confidence in themselves. Funds were also raised here to support the handicapped trust.
Through this platform she has actually promoted the message of unity in diversity which aims at women empowerment as well as this platform has emerged as the voice of many people to support physically handicapped trust.

C2B Voices – Season 2, Grand Finale ends on a high!
A scintillating finale was held in Mumbai on 10th October hosted by Khushboo Kamal and co-hosted by Joy Banerjee.
This one of its kind unique Online Singing Reality competition where 7000+ singers from 162 countries in various age categories went through grueling rounds of selections and challenges, starting 4 months ago fighting to make it to the finale.
All contestants performed so well in the Studio round that the judges had to increase the number of finalist spots from 10 to 18. They were neck to neck in all the 3 categories (male, female and junior). The top 18 were Aantariksha Saval, Tapti Das, Arijit Deb, Rakshak Bhatt, Charul Singh, Sahil Khan (visually impaired), Khushi Singh, Vikas Sharma, Yashshree Karnarkar, Sakshi Biswas, Piyush Kumar, Mehak, Rohit, M Ram, Vikas Malviya, Pankaj Devda, Pooja Tiwari, Kundan Karoop.
These 18 finalists now had to give their best shot in front of a talented pool of jury members from diverse backgrounds – Jolly Mukherjee (singer of “Chandni” fame), Sonniya Guptaa (CEO/Founder of C2B Voices), Hadi Ali Abrar (Bollywood Film Director) and Vijaykumar Mirchandani (Award-winning Hollywood Filmmaker/Producer) along with Jayant Hudar (Amazon best-selling author) who was the Chief Guest.
The top 5 list included Sahil Khan from, Junagadh Gujarat (male), Rohit from Dholpur, Rajasthan (male), Sakshi Biswas from Kolkatta (female), Yashashri Karnakar from Aurangabad (female) and Khushi from New Delhi (Junior). These top 5 received one Original Song FREE each to add to their kitty.
These talented singers who came from the interiors of India had never witnessed such a stage and now they were one step away to realize their dream of singing. Their performances were so good that the jury had to deliberate hard to pick the winners.
A special prize for consistently performing well across the entire competition went to Antariksha from Mumbai. She received a Gift Hamper from Nourish Mantra (worth INR 5000)

The uniqueness of the show where never-before, any winner of a singing reality show has received the prize to do playback singing for a Bollywood film. Director Hadi Ali Abrar gave that prize of Playback Singing in his Upcoming Bollywood Film ‘Fajr’ to the young and talented Sahil Khan who is also visually impaired but his singing clearly overshadowed everyone.
Last announcement, where one of these singers’ life was about chance to sing for the Hollywood project and Producer Vijaykumar Mirchandani gave that prize to Rohit. But that was not all, as he was also very impressed with the beautiful voice of Yashashree that he gave an additional prize to her to sing for his Hollywood project as well.

Indian Television Dot Com Group’s one-of-a-kind event to honor and respect the music accomplishments by independent musicians once again took the industry by storm. The award that honours musicians, lyricists, composers, bands, record labels, from the Hindi & English language music fraternity pan India classified into 40+ categories with over 77 winners.
Besides the driving forces behind the Clef Music Awards Anil Wanvari, Nisha Wanvari and Prerna Wanvari, noteworthy names from the world of music of the likes of Leslee Lewis, Padma Shri Dr Soma Ghosh, Kavita Seth, Vijay Prakash, Vivek Prakash, Brijesh Shandilya, Satya Kashyap, Rahul Seth, Sidhant Ruhan Kapoor, Vijay Iyer, Siddharth Kashyap, RS Mani, Sunny Subramanian, Gauri Yadwadkar, Manisha Dey, Miss India Tourism Rupali Suri, actress Payal Rohatgi, marked an attendance and raised a toast to the talented achievers.

Mumbai : Recently Award Show ‘Rashtriya Ratna Samman 2022’ organized by Dr. Krishna Chauhan was held on 20th of July 2022 in Mayor Hall in Andheri, Mumbai. The Krishna Chauhan Foundation (KCF) presented this award show. They honored renowned people from various fields and regions of our country, as well as those who have done outstanding works of social and human service.
There were many renowned people from film and politics, including Abhijeet Rane, Aarti Nagpal, Dr. Sunil Baliram Gaikwad, and ACP Bajirao Mahajan, who presented the awards to the winners.
Many celebrities attended, including Dr. Parin Somani, Aarti Nagpal, Action Director Tinu Verma, Anil Nagrath, Designer Dr. Bharti Chhabria, Music Director Dilip Sen, Sujata Mehta, Comedian VIP and Ehsan Qureshi. The program started after lighting the lamp and the show was moderated by Simran Ahuja. She also received an award for her excellent work in her field.

An important issue based film “Mudda 370 J&K” directed by Rakesh Sawant has been awarded at the award show held in Dubai recently. In this way, till now the film Mudda 370 has received 36 awards at the international level, which is a big achievement in itself. Rakhi Sawant was given the Best Jury Award for the film Mudda 370 from the “Dada Saheb Phalke Icon Award Films International 2022” held in Dubai, while its director Rakesh Sawant was awarded the Best Experimental Award for this film. For some reason Rakesh Sawant could not attend this function in Dubai, then his sister Rakhi Sawant took this trophy on his behalf.
In this regard, Rakesh Sawant told that the festival of Rakshabandhan is coming soon and this award from Dubai is actually the most beautiful gift to sister Rakhi Sawant on the occasion of Rakshabandhan. Rakhi Sawant received this award on my behalf. I feel myself very lucky brother. I consider mother’s blessings in all my success. All this has been possible because of her prayers.”
Let us tell you that Hiten Tejwani, Mohan Joshi, Zarina Wahab and Anjali Pandey were in the lead roles in the film ‘Mudda 370 J&K’ based on the burning issue. Directed by Rakesh Sawant, the film also features a special Rakhi Sawant song sung by Asha Bhosle.
The film, which tells the story of the pain of exodus from Kashmir, was shot in Kashmir and Uttarakhand. Hiten Tejwani in appears in the role of a Kashmiri Pandit boy who falls in love with a Kashmiri Muslim girl. What was the effect of Article 370 on the love story of these two? This is depicted in the film. Zarina Wahab plays Hiten Tejwani’s mother in the film.
Rakesh Sawant says that Mudda 370 is a very serious and sensitive film describing the pain of Kashmiri Pandits. This story needed to be presented on screen. I am happy and proud that our film has won 2 awards at the Dadasaheb Phalke’s name award function in Dubai.

मिस एंड मिसेज इंडिया ग्लोबल क्वीन 2021 के सीजन 1 की बड़ी सफलता के बाद डॉ नीलम पराडिया और द टोपाज इवेंट्स ने मिस एंड मिसेज रॉयल ग्लोबल क्वीन 2022 और रॉयल ग्लोबल अचीवर अवार्ड सीजन 2 का आयोजन 21 मई को मुम्बई के क्लब एमराल्ड में किया। यह एक भव्य और सफल आयोजन था, जिसमें देश के साथ साथ बांग्लादेश के कंटेस्टेंट और सेलेब्रिटी ने भी अपनी उपस्थिति दर्ज कराई। यह एक इंटरनेशनल ब्यूटी पेजेंट था जहां बॉलीवुड की फेमस अभिनेत्री फ़्लोरा सैनी भी मौजूद थीं। फ्लोरा ने इस ब्यूटी पेजेंट को जज भी किया और डॉ नीलम पराडिया की इस अनोखी पहल की सराहना की।
बॉलीवुड एक्ट्रेस फ़्लोरा सैनी ने यहां मीडिया से बात करते हुए बताया कि डॉ नीलम और उनके पति ने इतना अच्छा इवेंट ऑर्गनाइज किया, जिसकी जितनी तारीफ की जाए कम होगी। मिस से लेकर मिसेज तक सभी कंटेस्टेंट्स ने खूब मेहनत की, कई राउंड्स का मुकाबला था, जिसमें उनके टैलेंट को टेस्ट किया गया, सवाल जवाब की प्रक्रिया में भी उन्होंने अपना बेस्ट दिया। यह एक फैंटास्टिक कांटेस्ट था। जज करना हमेशा टफ होता है। मेरी जर्नी भी कंटेस्टेंट के रूप में ही शुरू हुई थी। तो स्टेज पर परफॉर्म करने से लेकर जज की सीट पर बैठने तक का सफर अमेजिंग रहा है। मैं दिल खोलकर मार्क्स देती हूं। हम सभी महिलाएं मल्टिटास्कर होती हैं हम सब विनर हैं।
एक ऐसे समय मे जब दुनिया मे जंग के हालात हैं, इस तरह के इवेंट सारी दुनिया के इंसानों को इकट्ठा करते है। इसमे बंगलादेश की प्रतियोगियों ने भी अपने हुनर का जौहर दिखाया। डॉ नीलम एकदम मॉडल की तरह खूबसूरत लग रही हैं और इनका दिल बहुत अच्छा है।
डॉ नीलम पराडिया ने कहा कि जब कॉज़ अच्छा हो तो लोग भी जुड़ते हैं। जब हमने फ़्लोरा सैनी को बताया कि हम यह इवेंट एक सोशल कॉज़ के लिए कर रहे हैं, इससे हैंडीकैप्ड ट्रस्ट को लाभ होगा, तो वह तुरंत यहां आने के लिए तैयार हो गईं। मैं उनका दिल से शुक्रिया अदा करती हूं। फ़्लोरा महिला सशक्तिकरण में विश्वास रखती हैं।
बंग्लादेश और भारत की प्रतिभाओं को एक ही मंच पर लाने के अपने अनोखे कांसेप्ट पर डॉ नीलम ने कहा कि हम राष्ट्रीय एकता के साथ अंतरराष्ट्रीय एकता में विश्वास रखते हैं। हमारा यही मैसेज है कि युद्ध से नफरत की जाए और पूरी दुनिया मे अमन और शांति लाई जाए।
फ्लोरा सैनी ने बताया कि हम सब ने इस शो को खूब एन्जॉय किया। खूबसूरत चेहरे और प्यारी मुस्कान स्टेज पर नजर आई। आम तौर पर विनर्स की आंखों में हम आंसू देखते हैं मगर यहां हमने ऑर्गनाइजर डॉ नीलम को इमोशनल होते हुए देखा।
आपको बता दें कि यह कांटेस्ट आज की महिलाओं के लिए जश्न मनाने का अवसर था। यह मुकाबला नारी के रूप, ऊंचाई, उम्र, वजन आदि के बारे में नहीं है। पेजेंट दरअसल महिला शक्ति का जश्न मनाने के बारे में है। डॉ नीलम का कहना है कि हम रोल मॉडल तलाश करते हैं न कि सिर्फ मॉडल।
गौरतलब है कि 20 और 21 मई, इन दो दिनों के दौरान, यहां प्रतिभागियों ने अंतरराष्ट्रीय मेंटर्स, ग्रूमिंग पार्टनर्स, हेयर स्टाइलिस्ट के साथ बातचीत की और फोटोशूट करवाए। यह दो दिन सभी के लिए खास रहे उन्हें बहुत कुछ सीखने समझने और खुद में विश्वास पैदा करने में मदद मिली।
हैंडीकैप्ड ट्रस्ट का सपोर्ट करने के लिए यहां फंड भी रेज़ किया गया।

सिने एंड टीवी आर्टिस्ट्स एसोसिएशन (CINTAA) भारत में कलाकारों के समुदाय के लिए अग्रणी और सबसे अधिक मान्यता प्राप्त संघों में से एक है और इंटरनेशनल फेडरेशन ऑफ एक्टर्स (FIA) का एक सहयोगी है। मंच पर उपस्थित सदस्यों में दर्शन जरीवाला (उपाध्यक्ष), अमित बहल (माननीय महासचिव), राजेश्वरी सचदेव (वरिष्ठ संयुक्त सचिव), अभय भार्गव (कोषाध्यक्ष) संजय भाटिया (संयुक्त सचिव) और अन्य चुनाव आयोग सदस्य टीना घई थे। जया भट्टाचार्य, हेतल परमार, रवि झंकल, दीपक काज़ीर, राशिद मेहता, घनश्याम श्रीवास्तव और विकास वर्मा।

सिने आर्टिस्ट वेलफेयर ट्रस्ट के चेयरमैन पंकज धीर ने सिंटा टावर बिल्डिंग का फाइनल ऑक्यूपेंसी सर्टिफिकेट मिलने की खुशखबरी साझा की। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि अन्य सुविधाओं के अलावा एक अत्याधुनिक सभागार और एक कैफेटेरिया बनाने पर भी काम किया जा रहा है। बोली, भवन और पट्टे से अधिकतम आय उत्पन्न करने के लिए थी, और किराया CINTAA सदस्यों के कल्याण और कल्याण के लिए होगा, जिसका खुलासा भी उन्होंने किया।

यह सुनिश्चित करते हुए कि कार्यकारी समिति की अभिनेताओं द्वारा सहन की गई कई चुनौतियों की मान्यता सदस्यों द्वारा महसूस की गई थी और यह कि वे गड़बड़ियों को दूर करने के लिए कोई कसर नहीं छोड़ेंगे। उन्होंने यह भी स्पष्ट रूप से कहा कि एकता ही ताकत है और संघ को सामूहिक लड़ाई लड़नी चाहिए।
जबकि सिंटा ने हमेशा चैनल्स, प्रोड्यूसर्स एसोसिएशन और प्रोड्यूसर्स से संपर्क किया है ताकि वे अपने सदस्यों की परेशानियों को कम करने के तरीके खोज सकें, लेकिन बहुत अधिक उत्साहजनक प्रतिक्रियाएं नहीं मिली हैं। एसोसिएशन हर मुद्दे से लड़ने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है। ओटीटी अभिनेताओं के लिए काम पाने के लिए एक बढ़ता हुआ मंच है और हालांकि सिंटा अपने शासी कानूनों के तहत कास्टिंग एजेंट के रूप में कार्य नहीं कर सकता है, वे निश्चित रूप से एक सुविधाकर्ता के रूप में विकल्प तलाशेंगे। उन्होंने यह भी उल्लेख किया कि CINTAA अपने सदस्यों के लिए अवशिष्ट और रॉयल्टी के लिए लड़ने के लिए तैयार है।
सरकार तक पहुंचना चाहे वह I & B हो, श्रम, सांस्कृतिक या यहां तक कि वित्त भी एक सतत प्रक्रिया होगी, FIA से समर्थन और सहायता मांगना एक अतिरिक्त प्रयास होगा। चूंकि CINTAA का FWICE के साथ समझौता है, इसलिए वे संयुक्त और सामान्य मुद्दों पर FWICE का समर्थन भी लेंगे।
वार्षिक आम बैठक ने एजेंडे के सभी प्रस्तावों को मंजूरी दी।

The Cine and TV Artistes Association (CINTAA) is one of the leading and most recognized associations for the performers community in India and an affiliate of the International Federation of Actors (FIA). The members present on the dais were Darshan Jariwala (Vice President), Amit Behl (Hon General Secretary), Rajeshwari Sachdev (Sr. Joint Secretary), Abhay Bhargava (Treasurer) Sanjay Bhatia (Joint Secretary) along with other EC members Tina Ghai, Jaya Bhattacharya, Hetal Parmar, Ravi Jhankal, Deepak Qazir, Rashid Mehta, Ghanshyam Srivastav and Vikas Verma.
A tribute was given to deceased CINTAA members Siddharth Shukla, Ghanshyam Nayak, Arvind Trivedi, Nitin Malhotra, Baldev Trehan, Madhavi Gogate-Barve, Mushtaq Merchant, Arun Verma, Ramesh Deo, Sanjay Kumar, Ajay Kumar Sharma, Akash Nath, Shiv Subramaniam, Manju Singh, Arun Khanna and Salim Ghouse.
Pankaj Dheer, Chairman of Cine Artists Welfare Trust shared the good news of the receipt of the final occupancy certificate of the CINTAA Tower building. He also added that work was on to create a state-of-the-art Auditorium and a cafeteria besides other amenities. The bid was to generate maximum revenue from the building and lease, and the rentals would be for the welfare and well-being of CINTAA members, he divulged.
During the course of the meeting, nearly an hour was spent answering a volley of questions raised by CINTAA members. From casting issues, to non-timely payments to actors, from health and safety to hygiene protocols, substandard food served on the sets to lack of transport facilities, each grievance was taken up by the Hon Gen Secretary Amit Behl in the most honest and healthy manner, ensuring that the executive committee’s recognition of the multiple challenges endured by actors was felt by the members and that they shall spare no effort to iron out the glitches. He also categorically stated that unity is strength and that the association must put up a collective fight.
While CINTAA have always approached the Channels, Producers’ Association and producers to find ways to mitigate the troubles of their members, there have not been too many encouraging responses. The association stays committed to fight every issue. OTT is a growing platform for actors to get work and though CINTAA under its governing laws cannot function as a casting agent, they will certainly explore options as a facilitator. They also mentioned that CINTAA is ready to fight for residuals and royalties for their members.
Reaching out to the Government be it I & B, Labour, Cultural or even Finance would be an ongoing process, soliciting support and assistance from FIA would be an added effort. Since CINTAA has an MOU with FWICE they will also take FWICE’s support on joint and common issues.
The Annual General Meeting approved all of the resolutions on the agenda.
