Recent work of a talented contemporary artist Jaydeb Dolui will be showcased in a solo art exhibition in hall no.4 at Jahangir art gallery, M.G. Road, Kala Ghoda, Mumbai 400 001 from 7^th to 13^th March 2022. It will be there for public viewing daily from 11 am. To 7 pm. This series is in watercolour with wash technique and elaborates the thematic relevance of Black colour and its sanctity in this world via the paintings displayed with an artistic sense and creative instinct.

This show will be inaugurated on 7th March 2022 at 5.30 pm by Mr. Nidhis Lotia, Director of Nitin Gems and Jewellery and Mr. Kumar Desai, Advocate High Court, Mumbai

Jaydeb Dolui hails from W. Bengal. He had his art education at Amragori art centre, Kolkata followed by an advanced art course at Birla Visual art 2000, Kolkata. He has so far displayed his thematic works at several art galleries and was a proud recipient of overwhelming public response and appreciation in numerous solo and group art shows. He is a recipient of many awards and appreciations from leading art promotional institutions all over the country the prominent amongst them being Bengal art Forum – Kala Ratna Gold award 2020, Nabankur Kala Bhavan – ‘Colour Wings’ Master Award 2020, West Bengal Vigyan Mandi Champion – 1998 and many more. His paintings are in proud collection of several reputed art collectors connoisseurs, patrons and art lovers in the present art world.

The present series highlights the thematic relevance of Black colour and its omnipresence in the global scenario via the desired visual effects achieved in the work using mix media and wash techniques. The so called popular concept in the public mind about Black colour and superstitions associated with it like Darkness, Dishonesty, Unkindness, Cruelty etc. have also been associated with the virtuous source of positivity as has been elaborated by JoydebDolui. This is very significant and the paintings on Lord Ganesh, Lord Krishna, Shakuntala, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, Noorjehan, Evening Sangeet, Buddha etc. bear testimony to this thematic peculiarity. It depicts true devotion and spirituality, culture, Indian Mythology, Philosophy etc.   Internal Black Concept has been specially highlighted by the artist in this exhibition elaborating the justification of omnipresence of eternal power and source of positive energy associated with the same in order to produce the desired visual effects.  Evening Sangeet illustrates the rhythm and melody associated with music that spreads joy and happiness in a peaceful environment after sunset i.e. in the darkness. Similarly, Gauttam Buddha always preaches peace, tranquillity and humanity as well as benevolence to masses. Black background highlights the sanctity and relevance of this message. So also is the thematic relevance of the work on Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and his message for peace and prosperity to masses. Painting on Noorjehan the symbol of eternal beauty and 25^th wife of Emperor Jahangir in the Mughal Empire signifies the divineness and thematic peculiarity of the royal Mughal culture & the omnipresence of the historical heritage associated with it. Painting on Lord Ganesha highlights the divine and eternal message of peace and spirituality spread by the omnipresent waves of sanctity and thematic relevance in the surroundings. This conceptual illustration of the thematic peculiarity is the backbone of these works and certainly render the expected visual standard and glory to the works. These works being very eloquent and thematically relevant often lead to a dialogue with the viewers’ resulting into their warm response and appreciations.

Two films were announced in Mumbai by film directors Neeraj Singh and Shraddha Srivastava, both films are based on very sensitive issues, one film depicts the oppression of women in the name of tradition in the Banchhada community, while the other film is the story of religion conflict. Regarding the issue of conversion taking place in Film director duo Neeraj Singh and Shraddha Srivastava, who are in discussion about their films, have already made Bikroo Kanpur Gangster together, while now together with filmmaker Dharmendra Singh, they are making a film on these two sensitive subjects. Talking about the story of the film, the story has been written about the background of Uttar Pradesh and Neeraj Singh, Shraddha Srivastava and Amit Chaturvedi have written it after doing a lot of research. The shooting of the film Banchhra will be held in Lucknow from March 28, while after finishing the shoot of Banchhra, the team will go out to shoot Dharma Dvd. The film is being produced by JD Film Production House Pvt Ltd and Waft Studios. In the Banchhada community, there is a celebration on the birth of a girl child, while no special interest is shown on the birth of a boy. Where every community has its own special ancestral work, the girls of Banchhada community are still forced to do prostitution. Film writer and director Neeraj Singh and Shraddha Srivastava is writing and directing a film named Banchhada- journey of a prostitute about this business of prostitution, which is running in the name of false practice in the Banchhada society. Neeraj Singh told that he is working on two films together. Film director Neeraj Singh said that the story of both his films is based on sensitive subjects, one exposes the prostitution taking place in the name of tradition, while the other film, whose name is Conversion, shows the religious conversion taking place in the world. The film shows how religious conversions are taking place globally. There are many states in India itself where people of different community incite to convert to another community saying that they are not safe in their religion.

Film director Neeraj Singh said that he has co-written the story of the film with his co-writer and director Shraddha Srivastava, while the film is being produced by Neeraj Singh and Dharmendra Singh himself, with Rajkamal Singh Tarkar co-producer of Banchhada. Neeraj Singh is known for making films on sensitive subjects, before this he directed Bikru Kanpur Gangster which was based on the life of gangster Vikas Dubey. He had to face many threats for the film Vikas Dubey. Nimai Bali, Mithilesh Chaturvedi and Javed Haider are in the lead roles in the film Banchhada, while the casting for the conversion is still going on. Banchhada – Journey of a Prostitute is being produced by JD Films Production House Pvt Ltd and Waft Studios , whereas the Dharm Dwand  itself will be produced by Neeraj Singh’s home production house Waft Studios.

अनिल काशी मुरारका यांनी भारतरत्न लता मंगेशकर यांच्या 35 कलाकृती कॅन्सर पेशंट सपोर्ट असोसिएशन, कलाकार राज सैनी यांना कॅन्सर रुग्णांच्या मदतीसाठी दान केल्या आहेत.

मुरारका यांच्या निर्मितीची साडेतीन वर्षांहून अधिक काळ काळजीपूर्वक रचना केली गेली आहे.  मुरारका यांनी खुलासा केला, “मला दीदींना भेटवस्तू द्यायची होती, पण हे माझे दुर्दैव आहे की मी ते त्यांच्या कमळाच्या चरणी सादर करू शकले नाही. यापुढील सर्वोत्तम गोष्ट म्हणजे कर्करोगग्रस्त मुलांचे जीवन उज्ज्वल करणे. हा माझा सर्वात मोठा उपक्रम आहे.”

भारत रत्न और अमर स्वर कोकिला स्वर्गीय लता मंगेशकर आज हमारे बीच नही हैं। लेकिन लता दीदी का अहसास हर दिल मे है और सदा रहेगा। उनके कार्य और गीतों को ब्रम्हांड और ये जग ताउम्र तक याद करता रहेगा। हर कोई अपने ढंग से दीदी को श्रधांजलि दे रहा हैं। और इस बार समाज सेवी डॉ. अनिल काशी मुरारका को एक नेक कोशिश, सच्चे इंसानियत का परिचय देती हैं ।

जी हां, लता दीदी को जो कला संग्रह भेंट करना चाहते थे वो इच्छा तो अधूरी रह गयी लेकिन दीदी के लिए संग्रहित की कला को डॉ. अनिल , कैंसर से जूझ रहे बच्चों के जीवन को बनाने में दान दे दिए। इससे अच्छी श्रधांजलि और कुछ हो सकती हैं।

अनिल काशी मुरारका ने भारत रत्न लता मंगेशकर की कला के 35 कार्यों को कैंसर रोगियों की सहायता के लिए कलाकार राज सैनी को कैंसर रोगी सहायता संघ को दान कर दिया है।

मुरारका की कृतियों को साढ़े तीन साल से भी अधिक समय से सावधानीपूर्वक तैयार किया गया है।  मुरारका ने खुलासा किया, “मैं दीदी को उपहार देना चाहता था लेकिन यह मेरा दुर्भाग्य है कि मैं इसे उनके चरण कमलों में पेश नहीं कर सका। अगली सबसे अच्छी बात कैंसर बच्चों के जीवन को रोशन करना है मेरी सबसे बड़ी पहल हैं।”

सीपीएए की कार्यकारी निर्देशक अनीता पीटर उत्साहित हैं और वो कहती हैं कि”हम डॉ. अनील काशी मुरारका की अद्भुत पहल से बहुत उत्साहित थे। हम सीपीएए में, मेक अर्थ ग्रीन अगेन मेगा फाउंडेशन के साथ अपने मरीजों और प्रसिद्ध गायकों के साथ एक संगीत कार्यक्रम आयोजित करने की योजना बना रहे हैं, जहाँ हम पेंटिंग की नीलामी भी रखेंगे। हम इस घटना को जल्द ही एक वास्तविकता बनाने के लिए काम कर रहे हैं। हमें डॉ अनील काशी मुरारका जैसे और लोगों की जरूरत है इस नेक कार्य को अंजाम देने के लिए ” ।

New Delhi: “The purpose of creating International Journalism Centre is to bring love peace and Unity through Journalism. We have always believed in constructive journalism, and this is what we have been propagating from last so many years,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios, International Journalism Centre at the grand opening of the 10^th Global festival of Journalism Noida 2022 online.

“The responsibility of the journalism has grown much larger than even before. The words do matter, the national and international integration do effect by what you write. You have to be truthful to your profession. Correct reporting is necessary and required,” said Lt. Gen. K.M. Seth former Governor of Chhattisgarh in his inaugural speech.

“Journalism is the most powerful tool of communication. It is the double edge sword sharp from both the sides. It can nature the feeling of love and if wrongly used can create feeling of hatred, depends how it is presented. One has to be accountable of his words,” said H.E. Hayet Talbi Ambassador of Tunisia to India giving different examples.

“Writing has a very powerful effect. Journalist gets the opportunity to investigate the truth and can write well to bring in peace to the nation. The Nightingale of India will light up lives again, this time philanthoropist and art collector Aneel Kashi Murarka has donated  35 works of art of  Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar commissioned to artist Raj Saini to Cancer Patients Aid Association to help raise funds to support children with cancer .

Murarka’s works have been painstakindly crafted for over three and a half years. “I wanted to gift it to didi but it is my misfortune that I could not present it at her lotus feet. The next best thing is to light up the lives of cancer children. Hence the initiative,” reveals Murarka.

“We were very touched by the amazing initiative of Dr. Aneel Kashi Murarka. We at CPAA, along with Make Earth Green Again MEGA Foundation plan to put together a musical event with our patients and renowned singers paying a musical tribute, while we auction the paintings. We are working to make this event a reality soon. We need more people like Dr  Aneel Kashi Murarka,” enthuses Anita Peter – Executive Director of CPAA.

We are keen to know your journey to world of Cinema. How has it been to be known as a Film director?

-It has been an interesting journey. I have come from the Visual media background. So for me it’s a dying need to make a film. It just occurs to me naturally. I feel that Cinema is a powerful medium and can help in conveying interesting stories and concepts that, I have come across, to my audience.

Filmmaking is a laborious job. So what keeps you motivated?

-For me, film making is not a laborious but a creative job. You are a like a craftsman. It’s a creative process. When you see an art form taking shape which you’ve envisioned, the sheer joy you derive out of it is beyond expression. That is something which keeps you motivated.

As a filmmaker, who are your sources of inspiration?

-Christopher Nolan and James Cameron

How much importance do you give to the script of the film before signing up the project as a director?

-The ground should start from the script. It is a main ingredient. Therefore I work closely with a writer of the film right from the beginning and work on minute details of the script. I would prefer to work on dark stories.

And how about casting?

-Indeed it is important. If the script is the foundation then cast is the body of the film. The people you select for the roles make the proper body of the movie. This implies i-depth research. You should feel that this character is going to play this role apt or is just the one made for that role. At this stage half the battle is won.

What projects do you have coming up?

-Naira, Silbon, The Hara-kiri, One is a company-two is a crowd.

Do you think that Indian Cinema is evolving?

-Yes to a greater extent. After Covid pandemic, Cinema is going Digital. We see huge opportunity in OTT platforms. Fresh content is going to play a key role and new talent is going to help filmmakers too.

Is the taste of audience changing too?

-Yes. Very much. Days of the rosy dream sequences are gone. Today’s audience believe more in realistic and factual content.

Whom would you love to work with? Why?

-Tapsee. She is a versatile actress and give justice to the character she is playing. I feel that as director, one can mold her as per the character requirement of the movie.

What do you think of OTT?

-As I said, as result of Pandemic, OTT’s proved to be a boon. It is the future of Cinema. OTT offers direct streaming services to viewers. Due to this apart from traditional viewers, target audience is changing who have got different taste which welcomes new content and different movie experience. People are getting more access to web series, short films through this OTT platform. So one should look forward to OTT platform with better scripts and fresh content.

16^th September 2021, Kolkata: Yet another initiative by TUTOPIA Learning APP  this year with the grand day & night 685-kilometre nonstop relay race namely  “Kolkata Gangtok Chase” (K2G).  Eleven young and passionate experienced Runners from across the country have come together to be part of K2G – covering a distance of 60 hours approximately.

The K2G  race, which is one-of-its kind, was officially flagged off by Mr, Arun Kumar Singh  in the wee hours of 16 September 2021, Thursday from Kolkata and the 11 runners would be following a route covering Krishnanagar, Berhampore, Malda, Raiganj, Islampur, Siliguri and finish off  at Gangtok.

“The idea is to promote health, fitness, mass education and the spirit of adventure. Being healthy and fit is more relevant during Covid times,” said Mr Subrata Roy, Director, Tutopia Learning App.

The event was graced by eminent personalities Soham Chakraborty, Gaurav Chatterjee, Devlina Kumar, Anindya Chatterjee, Soham Majumder & Ankita Chakraborty.

Each runner, on an average, would cover 62 kilometres approximately. “While many thought the idea of holding such a relay race was outright crazy, others thought it was `crazy bright’.
